Scholarship Raffle Tickets Are you selling your raffle tickets to support our annual scholarship fundraiser? Top seller this year will receive $100 off of their membership renewal. Our goal again is to raise a minimum of $1500 to provide three $500 scholarships to area students who are pursuing a career in some aspect of the building trade. Raffle prizes this year are all CASH! 1st prize - $1000, 2nd prize - $500, 3rd prize - $400, 4th prize - $300, 5th prize- $200, and 6th prize - $100. Drawing is April 11th at the WRBA 2010 Home & Cottage Show. Tickets and money need to be turned in by Saturday, April 10th at the very latest. Contact Diane at 715-853-2310.
A wish for a speedy recovery to Gary Felckowski from Gary’s Doors & Service who had knee replacement surgery in March. A quick recovery also to Dave Theis from KPT Carpenters who had surgery on April 1st due to an accident while at work. You are in our thoughts Dave!
It’s Here! – WRBA 2010 Home & Cottage Show @ the Crawford Center WRBA 2010 Home & Cottage Show will be held on April 9, 10 & 11 at the Crawford Center, Shawano County Fairgrounds. Booth sales are coming in, seminar schedule is full, and plans are being laid for a fabulous show! If you have some free time, come out and volunteer to give us a hand at the door, WRBA booth, seminar area, etc! Be a part of your organization! Admission for this year’s show for attendees will be “Free for Three” – free admission with three non-perishable food items OR a $3.00 (minimum recommended) donation to Wolf River Habitat for Humanity. Our Scholarship Raffle will reach its culmination with the winners being drawn at about 2:00 p.m. on Sunday afternoon at the show. If you still have tickets and/or money, get it turned in as soon as possible! We are planning to give away $500 worth of international phone cards to attendees who can show that they have a service member overseas on duty ($25/card) while supplies last, one per service member. If you know someone with a service member overseas, suggest that they attend! We have a full schedule of seminars-times and titles are in the newsletter. This year’s home show will be advertised starting on Saturday, April 3rd and through the show on WBAY TV – Channel 2 out of Green Bay. We are also looking at doing a Tabloid to come out just before the show, lots of posters, banners, etc for advertising. This
