The first Lead-Safe Renovator Training session was held on February 24^th.   This training is a requirement for anyone doing work in homes built before 1978 and disturbing more than six sq. feet of interior space or 20 sq. feet of exterior space including remodeling, repairs, rehab, weatherization, painting, electrical,  plumbing, HVAC, window refinishing, carpentry, etc!  We have two more lead classes scheduled -- March 23^rd and April 6^th.   We are hosting the lead classes through the WBA Foundation and cost is $225 for WBA members, $275 for non-members.  To register, contact Megan at the WBA Foundation at 608-242-5151, ext.24.  To find out about other classes available in the area, please go to www.wisbuild.org.

Wisconsin Builders Association Annual Conventionwas attended by a number of our members—and it seems that a good time was had by all!  Next years convention will be held in Wisconsin Dells at the Chula Vista Resort on Feb. 10 – 12^th .   No word on theme yet.  Talk to Scott Breitrick, Randy & Mary Bohm, Jim & Nancy Seehafer, Steve & Pat VanGheem or Diane to get more info on this year’s convention at the Paper Valley Hotel in Appleton – complete with tie-dyed shirts, beads, and a flower decorated yellow bus!!
