Items of Interest??....
Sunday, June 26th, is the annual “Breakfast on the Farm” and one of our members has asked if we would
be interested in volunteering to help out with parking cars, etc. This is a great local event, and I think it sounds like
fun! If we have any interest it might be a great possibility
to get some signage or maybe even a booth out there to promote WRBA, but it will require some
volunteers! Anyone interested contact Diane or Scott
Breitrick. Scott can be reached at 715-851-4710.
It was also brought up that there have been some updates with the CPR program and I was asked to see if any of our members would be
interested in taking a CPR class for a cost of $18.75/person. Let me know and we’ll see what we can do!
Focus on Energy
WBA and Focus on Energy have been in discussions for some time now exploring the
opportunities for growing both association membership as well as increasing the number of builders who
participate in the Focus on Energy New Homes Program. In the
process, Focus on Energy will be joining all 25 locals in the state of Wisconsin as members! This partnership will give us an opportunity for some non-dues revenue
and possibly increased membership. Focus on Energy will be promoting membership in the local builders
association to their current builders and we will try to get more builders involved in their program as
well.
Mark Gotta, Outreach Representative with Focus on Energy is tentatively planning
to attend our April meeting at Antlers Supper Club in Bonduel to provide all of you with more information
on this program.
