Lead Safe Renovators Training*

Required --  for remodeling, repair, rehab, weatherization, painting, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, window refinishing, carpentry, etc in homes built before 1978, if you are disturbing more than 6 square feet of interior space or more than 20 square feet of exterior space.
If you do this type of work, as of April 22, 2010, the Wisconsin Department of Health Services along with the EPA will require that you hold the Wisconsin Lead-Safe Renovator certification.

Cost:     $225 for members of the Wisconsin Builders
                    Association^®
             $275 for non-members
Time:     Registration - 7:45 a.m.
             Class - 8:00a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Lunch:   On site - provided

This 8 hour class meets the required training to apply for certification through the Wisconsin Department of Health Services.  In addition those holding a Dwelling Contractor Qualifier will also earn 8 hours of continuing education credits.
